The structure and scaffolding is a temporary structure that supports the original structure. Construction workers use these scaffoldings as a platform when performing construction works. Scaffolding types also vary according to the type and size of the constructions. Scaffolding is usually made of wood or steel materials.

It has to be balanced and strong both for the health and safety of the employees and for supporting the construction materials placed on it.

For example, commonly used steel scaffoldings are produced from steel pipes fixed together. It is very easy to install and dismantle. Such scaffoldings provide more strength and more durability. It provides more safety for employees, but is costly.

Building and construction scaffolding is an integral part of almost all construction projects. Buildings have been in use since the first day of construction. These scaffolds, which are generally necessary to reach heights during construction, serve many different purposes.

Different scaffolding systems are becoming more common in different parts of the world. For example, in Scandinavia and Northern Europe, labor is very expensive, so aluminum scaffolding is more widely used. It is lighter than aluminum steel and light materials are preferred because it requires effort to dismantle and install the scaffoldings.

In some countries, aluminum is expensive and labor cost is low. Wooden poles and bamboo are very common in these countries. Bamboo is a strength, flexibility and environmentally friendly material and is widely used in Asian countries.
