Air Quality Tests

Air quality refers to the state of the ambient air. Good air quality means that the air is clean, clear and free of contaminants such as dust and smoke. Air quality is determined by the assessment of various pollution indicators. Good air quality is needed to maintain the balance of life for humans, plants, animals and natural resources. However, when air pollution increases to high concentrations, human health, plants, animals and natural resources are threatened.

Air Quality Tests

Poor air quality can affect human health and damage the natural environment. Natural sources that adversely affect air quality are volcanic eruptions, strong winds and dusts. Man-made resources are pollution from vehicles, toxic gases from industries, coal-fired power plants and waste storage areas.

Both of these sources seriously affect the overall air quality and cause serious health problems for people. In short, air quality is the result of a number of factors, including emissions from a variety of sources, both natural and human.

There are three main factors in the reduction of air quality: the amount of pollutants, the rate of release into the atmosphere and how long they remove in an area. Air quality is deteriorated mainly by power plants, production plants, motor vehicles, motor vehicles such as trucks, buses, aircraft and cars, and volcanic eruptions.

From these sources, a wide range of pollutants such as sulfur dioxide, particulate matter, hydrocarbons and volatile organic compounds (VOC), lead, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides and smoke are emitted into the air. They significantly reduce air quality.

Most of these air pollutants are gaseous, but some are very small solid particles such as dust, smoke or soot. Air pollution can also affect the indoor air.

In areas with good air flow, air pollutants mix with the air and dissipate rapidly. In some areas, however, formations such as light winds or mountains cannot remove pollutants and may remain in the air. When this happens, pollution concentrations may increase rapidly.

Our company also provides air quality testing services within the scope of conformity assessment services. Thanks to these services, enterprises are able to produce more efficient, high performance and quality products in a safe, fast and uninterrupted manner.
Air quality testing services provided within the scope of conformity assessment services are only one of the services provided by our organization in this respect. Many other conformity assessment services are also available.
